Our Latest Announcements

As followers of Christ, our church stands on the principles of the Holy Bible. The Bible teaches in John 3:16 that God thought the world was worth saving. The Bible teaches in Acts 10:34, 35 that God shows no partiality between people. In the book of Revelation 7: 9, 10 the redeemed in Heaven are described as coming from every nation, tribe, people and language. In John 13:34, Jesus commanded his followers to love one another as He loves us. The tragic events in Brunswick, GA.; Louisville, KY.; and Minneapolis, MN.; are opposed to everything that is Christian and Biblical. As Christ's followers we stand against those who espouse and practice such beliefs and for those who live by an ethic of love, justice, mutual respect and human decency. We believe that a free democratic society cannot survive in an environment where beliefs of racial supremacy, racial bigotry and hatred are held and practiced, and we will join with all of those who are determined to see a society that exhibits the principles of equality, fairness and justice for everyone, without bigotry or bias.

The Summit SDA Church joins those of conscience and good will to voice our deep disdain and discontent with the unwarranted criminal behavior inflicted upon innocent African Americans. We cannot remain silent because, "The blood of our brother's and sister's cry out to us from the ground." America must take a different path from the one it now travels. One that treats all people as God's children equally and decently without regard to their origin. We join all of those who are determined to see America become the "Beloved Community," committed to extending "Justice for All."

Until further notice stay home & stay safe!
